The Real Challenge

Managing a UK Company from Pakistan Is Not as Simple as It Should Be

If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone:

You’re not sure whether you need to file a tax return, a confirmation statement – or both, and by when.

A Companies House letter with your authentication code went to a UK address you don’t control. By the time you tracked it down, the code had already expired.

Your filing deadline landed right in the middle of a Q4 push, a product launch, or local holidays – and those 14 days went faster than you expected.

You know your company has obligations but navigating Companies House from Pakistan just feels impossible.

You’ve heard the words “company strike-off” but aren’t entirely clear on what it actually means for your payments, your banking, and everything tied to that entity.

Since March 2024

New: Lawful Purpose Declaration Required

Under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act, every director filing a Confirmation Statement must include a declaration confirming their company’s intended activities are lawful. A lot of founders still don’t know this exists – and filing without it done correctly is still a non-compliant submission.

Don’t risk your company’s standing – get it filed today.

100% remote process. No UK address needed. 24-48 hour turnaround.

The Solution

Your UK Confirmation Statement. Handled Remotely. Done Right.

We’re a compliance service built specifically for non-resident Pakistani founders managing UK LTD companies from abroad. You don’t need a UK address, a UK phone number, or physical access to Companies House. You give us your company number and we take it from there.

Full CS01 Process Including Authentication

We manage the entire CS01 process including authentication – no chasing posted codes, no expired letters. Your authentication challenge is handled directly by our team.

Deadline Managed Within the 14-Day Window

We track your 12-month review period and file well within the 14-day window, including when that deadline falls on a UK weekend – which is already the middle of your working week in Pakistan.

Full Records Review Before Every Submission

We review your company records before filing – registered office, People with Significant Control (PSC), SIC codes, share capital – to make sure nothing triggers a compliance flag.

Full Confirmation of Successful Submission

You get full confirmation of successful submission, so you always know it’s done. A digital copy of your filed confirmation statement is stored and ready whenever you need it.

New for 2024

Lawful Purpose Declaration – Included as Standard

We include the lawful purpose declaration as part of every annual filing – keeping you compliant with the latest Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act requirements, without you having to think about it. Running an eCommerce business, a SaaS product, a digital agency – whatever it is, it’s covered.

The Process

Five Steps. Most Filings Done in 24 to 48 Hours.

The entire process is remote. No UK visit, no office trip, no posted letters. Here’s exactly how it works:

Step 1 Your part

Submit Your Company Number

Fill in a simple online form with your company number, incorporation date, and director details. That’s your part done. Everything after this is ours.

Step 2 Our part

We Review Your Records

Our team accesses Companies House to verify your registered office, PSC information, SIC codes, and share capital. We check everything for accuracy and flag anything that needs updating before submission.

Step 3 Your part

You Confirm

We send you a clear summary of exactly what will be filed. You review it and approve. No surprises, no technical language.

Step 4 Our part

We File on Your Behalf

We submit the CS01 directly to Companies House, within the required 14-day filing window. If that deadline falls on a UK Friday or public holiday, we’ve already accounted for it – that’s our job, not yours.

Step 5 You receive

You Receive Confirmation

Once Companies House accepts it, you get a copy of the filed confirmation statement and a compliance receipt for your records.

Most filings completed within 24 to 48 hours of your approval – from anywhere in Pakistan.

Transparent Pricing

Simple, Fixed Fees. And What They Protect You From.

Restoring a UK company after strike-off can require a High Court application – a process that can cost £5,000 or more in legal and filing fees, on top of any lost revenue while your payments were frozen. That’s the real cost of a missed filing.

Professional filing costs a fraction of that. Companies House charges £34 for online submissions. A professional filing service adds a service fee on top – which covers the records review, deadline management, the lawful purpose declaration, and submission confirmation. That combined total is nowhere near what a late penalty, a reinstatement application, or recovering frozen payment accounts would cost you.

The row most founders miss

Your confirmation statement is tied to when your company was incorporated – not when your financial year ends. The two dates are usually different, which means you have two separate deadlines running on two separate clocks. A professional compliance service tracks both.

For a full breakdown, read our guide on the difference between your confirmation statement and your Corporation Tax return.

Important note for 2024

Companies House has increased the speed at which it issues involuntary dissolution notices for non-compliant companies. If your company is behind on its confirmation statement, the window to act is shorter than it used to be. Don’t assume a warning letter will reach you in time – especially if it’s going to a UK address you’re not monitoring.

What NRP Founders Say

4.9/5 180+ NRP founders

I was in the middle of Q4 prep for Amazon and completely missed the filing date. The authentication code was sitting in a letterbox in London. These guys sorted the whole thing in 24 hours – I didn’t have to chase a single thing.

Ahmed R. Lahore
Amazon FBA Seller

I genuinely thought my tax return covered the confirmation statement too. It doesn’t. These guys caught the gap before Companies House did, and I didn’t even realise how close I was to a strike-off notice.

Sana M. Karachi
SaaS Founder

The authentication code issue is real. I got the letter three weeks late and the code had already expired. Now I just hand the whole thing off every year and I get a confirmation email when it’s done.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about UK Confirmation Statement filing as a non-resident Pakistani founder. Can’t find what you’re looking for?

A Confirmation Statement (CS01) is an annual filing you submit to Companies House to verify that your UK limited company’s public records are accurate and up to date. Every UK LTD has to file one – that includes companies where the directors are based in Pakistan and have never set foot in the UK. It doesn’t matter whether your company traded or earned a single penny during the year. The obligation still applies.

No – they’re two completely separate things. The confirmation statement goes to Companies House and is about your company’s records. The Corporation Tax return goes to HMRC and covers your finances and tax position. Filing one has no effect on the other. You need both, every year, with different deadlines.

Technically yes. In practice, there’s a wall most NRPs run into – you need a Companies House online account and an authentication code that gets posted to your UK registered office. If you’re in Pakistan, that letter can take weeks to show up. By the time it does, the code may already be expired. Professional filing services deal with authentication directly, so this whole problem never reaches you in the first place.

Companies House can issue a strike-off notice, which can lead to your company being dissolved. Once that happens, your UK business bank accounts – Wise, Payoneer, Tide – can be frozen immediately. Your company’s credit history disappears. Getting a struck-off company restored through the courts can cost upwards of £5,000 and isn’t guaranteed. Filing on time is so much cheaper, it’s not a real comparison.

Once your 12-month review period ends – counted from your company’s incorporation anniversary – you have 14 calendar days to get the Confirmation Statement submitted. UK public holidays and weekends tighten that further. For Pakistani founders, a Friday UK deadline is already your weekend, which is exactly why having someone manage this on your behalf isn’t just convenient – it’s genuinely protective.

Since March 2024, under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act, every director filing a Confirmation Statement has to declare that their company’s intended future activities are lawful. Running an eCommerce business, a SaaS product, a digital agency – whatever it is, you need to clearly confirm that in the filing. Submitting without this, or getting it wrong, leaves you with a non-compliant filing. We include it as standard in every submission we handle, so you don’t have to track it yourself.

Before we file anything, we review and confirm your registered office address, SIC codes, People with Significant Control (PSC) register, share capital structure, and shareholder records. Inaccurate SIC or PSC data can flag issues with Companies House and, in some cases, with UK banking providers too. We make sure everything checks out before anything gets submitted.

Yes, full stop. There’s no exemption for dormant or inactive companies. If your company is registered with Companies House and hasn’t been formally dissolved, you’re filing every year. That’s the rule.

Once you’ve submitted your details and approved the summary we send you, filing is typically done within 24 to 48 business hours. Your side of it – filling in the form and giving the go-ahead – takes under five minutes.

Companies House charges £34 for online submissions. A professional filing service adds a service fee on top of that, which covers the records review, deadline management, the lawful purpose declaration, and submission confirmation. That combined total is nowhere near what a late penalty, a reinstatement application, or recovering frozen payment accounts would cost you.

Honest Answers

Still on the Fence? Here Are the Honest Answers.

The most common reasons founders hesitate – and what the reality actually looks like from this side of the process.

The hesitation

“I can probably just file this myself – it seems straightforward enough.”

The honest answer

The form isn’t the hard part. The authentication code is. It gets posted to your UK registered office, and if you’re in Pakistan, there’s a real chance it arrives late – or not at all. Plenty of NRP founders find the letter weeks after it was sent, by which point the code is expired and the 14-day window has already closed. Professional filing services handle authentication directly. That problem never reaches you.

The hesitation

“I’m not even sure my company needs to file right now.”

The honest answer

If it’s registered with Companies House and hasn’t been formally dissolved, it needs to file. Doesn’t matter if you haven’t traded, haven’t invoiced anyone, or haven’t logged into your business account in months. All active UK LTD companies file annually. If you’re not sure of your next due date, we can check it for you at no cost.

The hesitation

“I don’t know if I can trust an online service with my company documents.”

The honest answer

That’s a fair thing to wonder. Our team is made up of UK-qualified compliance specialists – this is the work they do every day. Your information is handled securely, never shared with third parties, and you get a submission confirmation every time we file. Over 200 NRP founders have handed us their annual filings, with a 100% on-time rate.

The hesitation

“The fee feels unnecessary for something I might be able to handle.”

The honest answer

Put it next to the alternative. A missed confirmation statement can lead to penalties, a strike-off notice, and a High Court reinstatement that costs upwards of £5,000 – plus frozen payment accounts and lost trading time while you sort it out. The service fee is the smallest number in that scenario by a wide margin.

The hesitation

“I genuinely don’t have time for this right now.”

The honest answer

Your part takes under five minutes. You give us the company number, review a one-page summary, and approve it. We handle the records check, authentication, filing, and confirmation. No back-and-forth, no portal to figure out, no letter to chase.
