Registering your LLC in Delaware does not protect you from sales tax obligations in other states. Delaware has no state sales tax – but that only means you don’t owe sales tax in Delaware. The 2018 South Dakota v. Wayfair Ruling Changed Everything

Before Wayfair, states could only tax businesses with a physical footprint. After it, your sales volume alone is enough – no matter where you’re sitting when you make those sales.
