Here’s what actually trips people up:

C6, C5, C4 – each has different project value limits, net worth thresholds, and documentation requirements. Pick the wrong one and you’re either capping your bidding capacity or heading straight for rejection.
These two structures need completely different document sets. What works for a sole proprietor won’t satisfy PEC’s requirements for a private limited company – and the reverse is true too.
PEC explicitly excludes microfinance bank accounts. A lot of applicants find this out only after they’ve already submitted.
